Think Positively

Think Positively to Become a Success

One question that I am asked all of the time is, “How do you stay so positive Joe?”.  I trained myself to think positively everyday and not get sucked into negativity.  I learned to change my outlook on life and reverse negative attitudes and bad thinking habits.

YOU are Loved

Before I changed my own negative attitudes, I was anything but a success—financially or otherwise. It took a 180-degree turn on my part before I changed the course of my life.  Everyone has problems especially when we’re in a down economy.  It’s hard to remain positive when those around you are spewing gloom and despair.  Who needs to listen to that?

You can fill your head with discouragement by thinking negative thoughts, or you can change your whole attitude about yourself and others by thinking positive thoughts.  When you walk away from the depressed, unproductive group crying around the water cooler, tell yourself this; I can do better than this. I deserve better than this.  I can be better than this.  I am number one!

You can be as successful in your own professional and personal life as I am. Biologically, you’re no different than me.  Where we are different is in the attitude department.  As with everything else in life there are recognizable opposites in attitude: positive and negative, constructive and destructive, broad and narrow, cheerful and despairing.  How you look at life is the way you look to others.  The first thing I put on in the morning is my positive attitude, no matter what I must face that day.

I’m very proud of my achievements.  I’m listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as “The World’s Greatest Salesman”.  I’ve been inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame and recognized by the American Academy of Achievement.  And though it may seem small by comparison, I’ve dropped and have kept off 45 pounds of flab.  There are more accomplishments I’m proud of, but this really isn’t about me, it’s about you.  Think positively as I do and achievements will be earned by you too.
